The error shows on the plugin page at the top and has a red bar next to it. all it says is: “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error”. Happy to let you log in to my site if you’d like to see, or I can send a screen shot.
It’s not going to be due to out of date PHP – I suspected this so updated to the latest version of WP, at which point I was prompted that the PHP version was out of date, so I upgraded it.
