Okay. Found a resolution. Changed group from ‘private’ to ‘closed’ and now I’m able to post to the group wall. Hallelujah!

Out of curiosity I tested back to version 1.2.1 to see if it made any difference.

Still getting the exact same error message:

Caught exception in publish to group An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later. Error code: 0

Almost ready to give up on this plugin. Could I be missing something simple???

demaier, that’s great that you got it working again by reverting back to the previous version.

I just followed your lead and tried that too and while I can now get it posting to my wall just fine, I can’t get it to post to my group.

Here’s the error message I’m getting now:

Grrrr. So close, but yet so far. ??

Don’t know what to try now.

Has anyone here got this plugin to successfully post to their group?

Would love to hear from John Eckman, the plugin creator.

My gut feeling is that this error is due to a recent change to the Facebook API, but I really don’t know if that’s actually the case or not. I’ve tried everything I can think of to get it to work.

Any thoughts on how we might be able to fix this, John?

This would be such an awesome plugin…if we could only get it to work.
