In my case, it worked immediately.
There are a few important things to keep in mind:
- web app manifest required (you can also use plugins)
- Users must add your site to their Home Screen
- Users must launch at least once from Home Screen to opt-in notifications

Deactivation of the plugin brings all categories back.

But another (minor) problem occurs all categories are hidden (meta boxes are still there) from the admin area (even as superadmin) and front-end. UAM is the only active plugin.

There are 2 events first at 8pm-9pm and one the day after at 7am-8am.

Till 8 pm it should show “Next event moday at 8 pm” and after 8 pm or at the end of the event it should show “Next event thuesday at 7am”.
The events are shown until the end of the day. Cache is cleared and disabled.

Just change the custom date format to #_EVENTDATES
