Yes, its very strange. But with it on, emails just don’t send from our website.I turned every plugin off and put them back one by one. The contact form sent emails until I activated TML. The contact from still displays, but just doesn’t send.

But, perhaps its a conflict of more than one plugin?

I just re-activated the plugin to see what would happen. I got the error:

“The plugin generated 320 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

So, best leave it alone I think!

Creating a mu-plugins folder on the same level as the normal plugins folder didn’t work. Putting it inside the plugins folder did. Activated it, but no change to the signup page.

Thanks for the link to the instructions on how to make your own signup page. I think I’ll go there.

I don’t see any “bashing” just constructive criticism about trying to get help on this forum. But censor away if it keeps things nice and neat for you guys.

Back to the issue at hand. I have no mu-plugins folder. Just the normal plugins folder. Is this normal on a multisite setup?

I didn’t see any instructions with the plugin, so just placed it in the plugins folder. Nothing changed on the signup page after I activated it.

We used to have a great user signup page until we went multisite. Our login page looks fine (with the help of the Register Plus Redux plugin) but it has no effect on the signup page.

I have it active on our network, but unfortunately it only works on the login and not the register/signup. I am still looking for a way around the crappy default multisite wp-signup page.

If anyone knows of a solution, I’d love to hear it.

Got it sorted. Had to go into my host account and delete from there. FTP didn’t have the right permissions. This is what I deleted:

Remove:
wp-content/advanced-cache.php
wp-content/db.php
wp-content/w3tc/
wp-content/w3-total-cache-config.php
wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/

nope. keeps diverting back to wp-admin.

Can I increase the upload file size settings from with the admin area?

I see at the bottom of Super Admin/options you can set the “Max upload file size”. But I have this set to 88000kb already.

In Super Admin/sites/mysite there is also “Site Upload Space Quota”. But I have this set to 1000mb already too.

I suppose we can go forward just using the media uploader. But the problem we have is that the video we wish to upload and link to is over the 8mb limit. What do you suggest we do. Can we increase the limit or ftp upload to a new folder that allows us to link to it?

It is, and a copy is in a folder called /img/ in the root. Neither urls load the image. They just give 404 errors.

I think you misunderstood. I’m not talking about uploaded media here. I placed an image in the root folder via ftp as a test for the URL. It’s there alright.

I just deactivated my login plugin (simple login) but no change.

Then I tried deactivating another plugin (theme my login) which creates a members login page from my Thesis theme, and that did the trick!
