since i deactivated the links to the slideshow inside the albums, i had no more crashes…..
For me thats ok, i will only use previews without slideshows in future, that seems to work now.

Ok, just another quick question:
Can i gloabally deactivate the slideshow function, so that only pics in “thumbs” modus are shown, but clicking (and switch to slideshow modus) is disabled?
Would be enough for my readers to see the thumbs….

The database error happens at different, random albums.
Did you get any debug-information that could help?

by the way: Is there a shortcode available to show only the last 10 albums on a page with [wppa]?

All i can say is that i got a white or blank site on my calendar page, tested nothing else. No change to 2.1.7

I`ll stay at 2.1.4 as long as there is a confirmed solution available

I got back to 2.1.4 now by uninstalling 2.1.8 (after deleting uninstall.php) and install the older version.

Seems like everything is running now in this version. All events are there, nothing lost as i see at the moment.

2.1.8 is NOT working for me.

THIS IS NOT RESOLVED!!!

The manual configuration leaves still a white or blank site.
So i installed 2.1.8 and still have this heavy problem.
Hope to get a solution soon.

Just found a hint that the automatic Word Press update 4.0.1 (yesterday) could be the reason….

And if thers no solution till tomorrow, ill have to downgrade to version 2.1.5. Found a (not tested) solution to loose no data: Simply delete uninstall.php in /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar before uninstalling the plugin and install the older version.

Is there a chance to export and re-import all events – i`m not sure if the above solution works….
