Fixed. It appears the there was some conflict between your plugin and Yoast. I deleted Yoast, and after reinstalling it, the offending cache files were gone. I am now able to make a full FTP backup. Have a nice day!

I also use the BackUpWordPress plugin, but that now also fails. This is something new. Do you have link to older revision of your plugin I can try? The site is up and running, not local…

No, I have no caching plugin installed. si-contact-form is the only folder containing these redundant files. All other plugins I have currently installed do not have cache files in their folders…

Of note is the fact that in the top right corner of the image, it shows the actual contents of the /attachment folder. All that exists in there is just index.php, yet my FTP client expects to download all the other cache files etc, so these must be links to somewhere?

Here are links that show what my front page should look like, and after installing the plugin.

No other plugins were installed at the same time.

I double checked by installing the plugin three times, and each time my site was messed up.

Each time I had to restore from a backup, as removing the plugin did nothing.

I have the same problem but with pages. I cloned an existing site that uses relative links to a local site. I have to add https://127.0.0.1/wordpress/ to all images. As there are over 2,000 of them, it’s a little time consuming…

I should have added that I’m using WP 3.5….
