In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] All admin menu texts are bold since updateIf every one of the 45 plugins we need to make our website (thousands of visitors and dozens of active editors) work added 40ko of fonts (what’s more from a foreign domain!) we would end up with every page load on the admin weighing 2mo and taking seconds to load.
You are part of the 80 most downloaded plugins on the www.ads-software.com catalogue and among the biggest plugin editors and owners. Understand that users expect better of you.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] All admin menu texts are bold since updateIt’s tested in Troubleshooting mode, with only default wordpress theme and Broken Link Checker activated and as you can see on those screenshots, it’s because your plugin enqueues Roboto fonts from a foreign domain (https://fonts.bunny.net/, why should I need request from there to check my broken links?).
It adds load time, adds some kb of data to load and foreign domain requests to wait for.. on every single request from every admin screen… No wonder users accuse BLC to become a bloatware. Maybe follow WordPress provided fonts CSS instead?

In reply to: [Hide Dashboard Notifications] Does its job but adds unecessary new tabI don’t really see how that’s more difficult to access the Settings sub menu. One has to wonder what share of users need to access the settings for hidden notices on mobile on a regular basis.
My point stands. I’ll look for another plugin.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Hide Dashboard Notifications] Does its job but adds unecessary new tabSeeing that the plugin has not a lot of different settings pages and does not need sub-menu, I really think that using the default WordPress settings menu (add_options_page) is better in terms of UX.
Surely you don’t get to have the pride of seeing your own plugin in the main admin menu but this way it does not bloat the admin interface of users of the plugin. If every plugin adds its own menu item for a settings page, the WP admin very quickly looks like a Christmas Tree.
Even more so as this specific plugin aims at reducing noise in the admin.
Just my honest opinion.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Hide Dashboard Notifications] Does its job but adds unecessary new tabHello!
That’s the tab I’m talking about https://ibb.co/x1T8MMQ
A lot of plugins (here you can see Easy WP SMTP doing the same on the screenshot) use new tabs hook to be visible… but it adds bloat very fast, even though you can hook to the Settings tab for that.
A lot of great plugin hook to the Settings tab, from bbpress to WP Super Cache, Autoptimize, Akismet.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] WPMUDEV … BLC 2.0 :(too late for that

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Version 2.0Same. I have no doubt they will slowly decommission the old one and start pushing number of urls limits to sell their product. Really sad to see this plugin gone.
Just tested with the updated version! It’s all right.
Thanks!
Indeed! Thanks !
That’s perfect!
The Download Button is not exactly it because if I tie the button to a script but without a link, it will download the html page. For example it’s impossible to use this plugin to make a button that will switch theme of the site.
Awesome! Thanks!
