I thought I had responded to your reply above, however I did so in an email and I’m not sure it was seen. Here is what I wrote:

I used your suggestion and I discovered that there is a conflict with the translatepress-multilingual plug-in. When it's enabled, it defaults the posting date to the date of the last article posted. I have disabled this plug-in and the problem is gone. That's why you didn't see it when you went to the site. I'm going to use a different plug-in to see if that helps. If you have any other suggestions for how to resolve this issue, please let me know.

Thank you again, Joy. Unfortunately, the problem is not only with the slider. It’s also with the fixed thumbnails next to it.

Thank you, Joy. I appreciate your response. I would still like to understand what I need to do in order to see the thumbnails until the 24th. Once I get that sorted, I can move on to the impending issue with FB changes. ??
