In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Can’t connect to jetpackThank you, yes, I’ve already tried that.
OK so I turned time zone options on and off, and the month seems to be working now … but now the times are all out by 10 hours (we’re UTC+10, so there’s something going on with time zones … ) … same as in the OP’s post.
I’m having the same problem, at csobrisbane.org/events/
Under the July heading, it’s showing August events, etc.@fransjansen, it looks like yours is working now (the dates anyway, not the times) … did you change something?
Thanks,
JulieI had that happen too. I was using Woocommerce. Turns out i didn’t have “enable guest checkout” ticked in woocommerce settings, so it tries to make you log in first, so that bit makes sense. But once I’d logged in, the product wasn’t in the cart, as you say, so still a problem!
OMG, I’ve been trying to resolve this issue ALL DAY, and I finally found the problem … sharing here in case anyone else is having the same issue!!
It turned out that the login form (see Ultimate Member -> Forms -> Default login form) had been set to “Refresh Active Page” (in the options box, bottom right). This obviously overrides what you set in the individual User Role settings!
Going to bed now. Exhausted. Phew.

In reply to: [Team Showcase] Missing Content on all of my sitesDon’t know if you’ve sorted this yet, but the problem is that your plugin is actually a different one, NOT this one … you can fix the problem by updating your plugin for $17 at https://codecanyon.net/item/team-showcase-wordpress-plugin/4936368.
cheers,

In reply to: [Team Showcase] V4.0 does not work at ALLThank you Carlos for chiming in ??
>> It will only happen on older versions of my plugin (+3years old).
Carlos’s plugin is a paid one (only $17) … so those of us who are having this issue clearly have older version we paid for over 3 years ago.
For everyone not wanting to update to the newer version (for $17), the solution I’ve found is to edit the tshowcase.php file in the plugin directory, and change the version number (near the top) to 9.9.9.9 … that will stop it updating.

In reply to: [Team Showcase] V4.0 does not work at ALL@developerchick, yep, no doubt … apparently they have the same slug, so they’re getting confused by the update mechanism. Seems crazy, right? I’ve had to stop auto-updates, otherwise it just keeps happening. Good luck!

In reply to: [Team Showcase] V4.0 does not work at ALLOh wow, I’ve finally worked out what’s going on. “Easy Updates Manager” pluginn which does automatic plugin updates, had incorrectly updated our “Team Showcase” plugin, by cmoreira, by replacing it with YOUR plugin … weird!!!
Sorry for the confusion!!
cheers,

In reply to: [Team Showcase] V4.0 does not work at ALLI’m sorry, I meant V1.4, not v4, my mistake. Thanks for replying! I’m still confused … did you change your filename and slugs? It seems that everything is different now?
Thanks for your response ??
I’ve just tried again, and it worked … sorry! No idea what was going wrong yesterday. Checked my error log but it’s EMPTY – so that itself is a new mystery for me to follow up! Ha ha.
Thanks again for your response, and for your plugin, it’s great ??
cheers,
JulieHey Sakaane, sorry you didn’t get the help you needed. I’ve had massive issues with two really slow sites, and just today finally found out we’re being throttled by our host provider for the same thing – using too many resources – in our case it was bots.
Anyway, in my research about it, I found out that WordFence can really slow down your site if you have Live Traffic turned on (and it’s turned off by default). You probably won’t see this, but just in case you do .. turning that off might be an option for you.
cheers,
Juliethanks so much ??
