Okay, I solved the spaces. I just want to get rid of those 2 gray lines on the primary menu bar

oh I solved it! I set the featured image width to 400px instead of auto. unfortunately in IE, the blog page widget was pulled down but it doesnt matter. tanks for the help though.

thanks but it didn’t help. i was able to fix the entry title. I set the max-width to 400 instead of 600. But the excerpt is still messed up.

By the way, I did the frontpage with Minimax website builder plugin because I don’t like the frontpage design of my theme “Hadley” (Child theme from Genesis) from 17th Ave. I’m in wordpress and I change the max content width of my theme.

I am really happy that I was able to customized my website while just reading and following all the instructions written here. However, the only problem I have right now is how to make the categories and archives full width too. I managed to solved the problem with single posts using this guide but I can’t do anything with the Categories and Archives. Need help!
