I have done all of what was suggested even deactivated all of the plugins… still a mess?

When I click on attach to post I just get a blank screen. I don’t have any of the known plugin or theme conflicts.

Here is how I did it kinda tell me if you think it was best practice.

changed thumnails to 60×60

I checked Us Customer HTML markup

before/after popular posts… I put…
<div class="cat-posts-widget textwidget"></div>
then in post markup

<p class="post-title">{title}</p>
<p>{summary}</p>
</div>
<div style="clear:both;"></div>
</div>

I guess I might like to take the … after the summary but I can probably live with that ??

Your welcome. I wish more people would document their plugins better sometimes it is a struggle to use them.

well… I have found a work around for this buy using shortcode and plugin called widget logic.

We have discovered that this was a permission problem in the temp directory we change the temp directory to allow Anonymous Internet User (IUSR) account to have permission to write to the C:\Windows\Temp\ folder.

However the problem now when you run the update the first time you get the following error.

Upgrade Plugin
Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/dashboard-widget-manager.zip

Unpacking the update

Deactivating the plugin

Removing the old version of the plugin

Could not remove the old plugin

If you attempt the second time you get the following error

Unpacking the update

Could not copy file

Of course this looks like a permission problem in the plugin dir I will get back to you on this after we play with the server a little more.
