In reply to: Uploading theme to local install and local FTP detailsnice…
normally this happens when people install daemons / wp under root user incorrectly.FTP is used by wordpress to move files around instead of php for a number of reasons.

that is how you supply the information but it should not be necessary if everything was installed correctly.
good luck
also when you first activate the plugin and go to the options page
there is a bug
You need to save that options page once
and then make sure you are logged into your twitter account you want to post to before you try to make the connection.I don’t know why you have to save the settings once .. it must be something with an option in the database not being set.
The option not being saved is probably the Call back URL as the people above stated you should check

In reply to: Categories only shows older postsI would bet that you have a Cache Plugin and when you are logged in it does not feed you the cached pages.
If you do then empty your cache within wordpress and see if that works.

In reply to: How do I view statistics? If you host your own version of WordPress it does not come with a statistics package.
You can download the JetPack plugin package that requires that you have a free WordPress.com account
Or you can use your hosting site’s cpanel to view statistics
Use Google Analytics
or install another plugin

In reply to: photos not showing up on ipad or iphone, but fine on pcIf the theme is responsive design i have seen them go bad before.
If you can not see your content with the default theme as Krishna suggested then check if your theme has built in support for Phones and Tablets through identifying the browser/useragent.
Make sure you don’t have a mobile version option or plugin enabled.
heh
you know im just screwing with you .. chickens do that
I gave you the dif between the links
I did not save itThe top one is what was when installed
The bottom one is the fix and it works with the new and a previous version that i reverted to because i got tired looking at the loading… wheel above the editor window which i guess was choking on the images i tried to capture..
anyway old version is all i need i just steal a bit of facts from different news sources then repost my own ideas about a subject..
I was using FireFox 21 on win7
hope that helps and
thanks again for making the plugins it helps a lot of people.close
so far so good seems to be back to tweeting
Total Crash Strikes again
don’t know why i didn’t catch that .. guess i got paranoid when someone on IRC #wordpress mentioned a api change and i notice i hadn’t had a tweet for 11 days on a site i don’t manage that often…
Thanks again for the quick support.
and thanks for the pluginhmmm just notice w3 total crash added this to the url in the admin area
admin.php?page=TweetOldPost&w3tc_note=flush_pgcache
i updated the url .. by removing &w3tc_note=flush_pgcache
will see if that fixed it
