    Hi elvyne963,

Welcome to WordPress… you will soon get the hang of it.

In both examples I would describe them as an archive view in grid format. Some themes come preloaded with these type of views with animation or you could look for a plugin that gives you different options to build something similar. You can select a category to display the grid or you build them yourself one by one. Another option are page builders with additional layouts and animations for grid layouts.
Each would have layout options to decide how big the image is, where to put the copy, columns and rows plus many more…
I hope this helps you to create what you want..

Do you use some text editor extension like ‘tinymce’ or some other ‘wysiwyg’ extension installed? Does it show on the frontend of the website?
The code is standard for the text editor and I can imagine it is confusing to see it on the visual editor.

    Hi Mumandstuff,
Have you considered using Yoast SEO? In the free version you have the option to set each image you which to use for social media sharing. For more information on that feature, please use the Yoast tutorials and forums.

    Hi Peter,
Have you thought of using a contact from plugin to submit content to your custom post types? I have done something similar using Formidable Forms with a premium add-on to submit to post. I know Gravity forms have similar capabilities. In this way you could have a frontend highly customisable interface that creates entries to draft for you to publish. There are probably more plugins available that create this capability.
Hope this will be a helpful tip.

    Hi Laily92,

Do you use a custom theme? If so, have you tried viewing your posts while in a standard wordpress theme?
From the frontend, it looks like an extra link that is trying to display the permalink, which could be something build in the theme.
Hopefully this will point you into the right direction.

    Hi Rediation,

You could set up a different contact form for each ‘house’ so you can control the reply and take stats for how many are sent from each subject (‘house’) There are premium plugins that add fields in the reply that could detect the page it was sent from. These premium plugins sometimes have free versions, though it would be best to check with the plugin author your specific required feature.

    Hi Caimin,
With a few trail and errors I have managed to recreate it with what you suggested.
Thanks for the suggestion. This versatility makes this plugin just fantastic.

This is for a frontend category listing as a kind of archive of past events. The client wants to write about the most recent meeting/event in the description and for members to read back on.
In the back-end in ‘single category page format’ I’ve set it as #_CATEGORYPASTEVENTS. This displays all the past events in chronological order. Of course as the list grows it would be good to have the most recent first.
    Thanks for checking Angelo
