In reply to: Critical Error after 6.2 UpgradeJust got this email from Themeco (I am using X theme)
WordPress made a core change in version 6.2 that caused an infinite loop in X and Pro. We have fixed the issue in X 10.1.10 and Pro 6.1.10. If possible, please do not update to WordPress 6.2 until you are on these versions. Unfortunately it appears WordPress has changed their default setting to auto update to the latest versions (generally, never a good idea). You can change this in your WordPress settings.
If you are already on WordPress 6.2 and having trouble accessing your site, please remove the X/Pro folder, download the latest version from your Themeco dashboard, and then re-upload and change your theme back to X/Pro. If you wish to manually fix the issue you can add
return;
to line 194 offramework/legacy/functions/plugins/cornerstone.php.

In reply to: Can’t Fix “Critical Error”It seems that now I just get the error when attempting to login at /wp-admin. It allows me to enter account credentials and then shows the critical error. Thanks for the feedback though, I thought the main website was loading erratically! At least this is a step in the right direction. I believe it was the final step which I took, rebuilding tables in phpmyadmin, which brought the main site online (albeit without being able to login).
Great, thanks for the information!
I am hosting media files on my own server. I don’t think I need hosting, just want to turn off Blubrry and switch to your plugin since I find it better.
I will double check on the stats plugin but I have had trouble installing it. When I click the “Install now” button nothing happens. Same thing with the other extensions, also. Kind of strange.

I’m having the same problem. It’s a shame because this plugin is otherwise perfect. Is there any workaround to enable this to work for custom post types?

In reply to: 3.5 Update Failed! Info Pic.Unfortunately this didn’t work.. I manually updated wp-includes and wp-admin but it still shows the same error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function register_handler() on a non-object in /home/nibiru/public_html/tap4fun.com/wp-includes/media.php on line 944
Anything else I should try?

In reply to: Can’t login (blank wp-config.php)any suggestions aside from reinstalling?

In reply to: Can’t login (blank wp-config.php)I think A) is accurate – cannot login to wp-admin. During the login process, after login information is entered, it halts on a blank page with wp-config.php in the address bar.
I tried renaming the plugins folder through FTP, now when I try to login it gives me these errors on wp-login.php:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-config.php:57) in /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-login.php on line 202 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-config.php:57) in /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-login.php on line 214 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-config.php:57) in /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 552 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-config.php:57) in /home/djcharl/public_html/log/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 689

In reply to: Can’t login (blank wp-config.php)The wp-config.php looks accurate and is identical to the backup I created when there were no problems. I’m (backing up and then) deleting all of the plugins to see if that doesn’t fix it.

In reply to: Can’t login (blank wp-config.php)it’s not viewable through the browser, but it halts on that php script instead of proceeding to the admin area. I’m not trying to view wp-config.php through the browser, I’m trying to log in. Sorry if I wasn’t clear-

In reply to: Can’t login (blank wp-config.php)What I mean is that when I try to login to the admin console the page (whp-config.php) appears entirely blank in the browser. The file itself, viewed through a text editor, looks the same as it did before. I’ll download a new copy and enter my details, and then upload that to see if it doesn’t fix the problem. Thanks for the help, I’ll post and see how it goes.
