Hi, I would like to be able to use a filter for this in my custom-functions.php as first proposed by newmedia85, instead of modifying a template as indicated above. Is it feasible?

Would anyone know how to modify the code of newmedia85?

Well, bad news, the html pages have reappeared. Less frequently than before, but that also happened when I reinstalled WP through the admin panel. For a while, the site was faster, and I only had a few html pages appearing. Then, the more I used the admin panel, the more frequent html pages would appear. So reinstalling WP seemed to have help a bit?

I contacted Bluehost again, they confirmed that my DNS was correctly set-up, and my IP address was OK and that they could not find anything wrong with my site.

Other steps taken:
Checked for malware: none
Changed name of plugin file: problem still exists
Installed WP Supercache as per songdogtech suggestion (thanks)

Thanks for the answers. I am with Bluehost, but they have recently put me on Cloudflare, which I had to disable because of conflicts with W3 Total Cache, maybe that explains the DNS redirection. I have totally desinstalled W3 Total Cache from my site.

I have uploaded the core files and tried the admin panel – seems Ok for now but hard to say as it is intermittent. I would have to use it for a bit to see if the problem is solved. If it’s Ok with you to keep this thread open for a couple of days, I’ll make sure to post the results (whatever they are). Again thanks.

Hi, I have used this theme (Autofocus) before. You have to go in the settings of your theme to remove that copyright. I think it’s a box that you uncheck or you put a blank field instead of your name, I cannot remember exactly. You will have to look around. I’ve been able to find that my problem is related to an incompatibility with the plug-in Block Bad Queries https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/block-bad-queries . When I turn this plug-in off, I can upload the images.

Hi, I have almost the same problem. I do the samething as xxxreganxxx but instead of having “Syntax error: Unexpected token <” I get the message: “Forbiden” . I cannot change any picture from the template.

Oh, that’s too bad. Maybe WPML have made some progress with their API. I will mention to them that this would be a feature that some of their users would like to see. Thanks!
