    OK that is what I thought – I just wanted to make sure that someone else shared my line of thinking and I wasn’t way out there in LEFT field….or RIGHT field for that matter (I am an equal opportunist!) ??

    None of the permissions have been changed = in fact the only thing writeable is the “backup” folder and i change that permission back to non-writeable when I am not doing a backup.

    However, is it not odd that EVERY blog on the same server has the same issue?

    OK figured it out – was looks like Ultimate Tag Warrior needs an upgrade to work with this version of WP.

    What was happening was numerous “junk” entries were being made into one of my tables and just overloading the DB – to the tune of 40,000+ records!

    So sorting this out will be my morning project tomorrow!
