Hello David,

I’m not using feedburner and yet I too am getting the ugly characters in my episode descriptions. Have you solved this issue yet?

I’m using WordPress 2.2.2, the default theme v1.6, and no plugins. When I make a post that includes a “, &, et cetera, it looks fine in Firefox’s RSS reader but looks awful in iTunes.

I think it’s a permalink thing since I do not call out categories in my permalinks (i.e., /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/)!

Thus, these slight tweaks (i.e, add /category) work:

I too am getting the infamous “Could not execute AJAX call, server didn’t return a valid XML.” message when I try to spell check in WordPress 2.2.1 using a Macintosh running either Firefox 2.0.0.5, Camino 2007022813 (1.0.4), or Netscape Navigator 9.0b1.

Which older version of WordPress should I get the “old spellchecker directory” you are speaking of?

I may have figured out my problem–I am such a newbie at this stuff! Before putting up my WordPress site I removed ALL the files GoDaddy had placed within my site including a php.ini file. After poking around this forum a bit more I found out just how important that little file can be. Thus, I put it back and now I can start/stop all nine of my MP3 audio files with no problem!

I’ll put it through it paces for the next few days and report back my findings.

I totally agree with Dgold! GamerZ’s WP-Print makes printable pages look awesome.
