However, in order for the “Save Settings” button to work on that page, I also had to change the form action in buddypress-group-documents/includes/admin.php line 72 from:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-group-documents-settings

to :
/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=bp-group-documents-settings

The only workaround that I have found to this odd behavior is to click on “Insert into post”, at which point the image is inserted into the post and also realizes that it is supposed to be the featured image. You end up with two images of course, which can be resolved by deleting the one inserted into the post. Ridiculous workaround, but it seems like only two people have seen this problem.

I’m still having this problem. Does anybody have any ideas?

I’m having the same problem. I’ve cleared the cache, tried different browsers, different images, different posts, the usual…

It was working fine, and then suddenly it just jumps to the top of the page like you described. It may have been the update to 3.0.1 that broke it. But then, it may have been something else, I can’t remember exactly at what point it stopped working.

Did you manage to get it working again?
