In reply to: Right column still displayed under left column in IEI’m still struggling with this issue. I’ve tried several two column themes now, and they all have problems with the menu column being displayed beneath the main content column in IE. It all looks great using Firefox.
Here’s my site, so that you can see the issue in IE.
I would appreciate any suggestions. I’m stumped.

In reply to: Right column still displayed under left column in IEThanks Moshu. As I mentioned in my query, I’m using “Gumamela” right now. A freebie from the Free WordPress Themes site. I reduced the colOne style to 500 thinking that maybe things would get bumped around because of margins and padding. Otherwise, it should be 520.
I do still have another WordPress site using Kubric that seems to be working right now, but I have no idea why.
Can you offer a suggestion that can help?

In reply to: Spelling Checker plugin for WordPressWell, I deleted the spell.personal file, and gave it another shot and it worked. Cool! Thanks for the assistance.

In reply to: Spelling Checker plugin for WordPressI sure appreciate your help. I’m still getting an error with each attempt at a language def. The complete error (the same as before) reads: Error executing ‘/usr/bin/aspell -a –lang=en
–personal-/home/goswans/public_html/wp-content/plugins/spell/aspell
</tmp/aspell_data_Go6GY2 2>&1′
/usr/share/aspell/en_US.dat: The required field “name” is missing.Does this mean anything to you, ColdForged?

In reply to: Spelling Checker plugin for WordPressHmm. I just changed the permission on the spell directory to read and write and I get a curious error. It says “usr/share/aspell/en_US.dat: The required field “name” is missing.” It seems to be trying to work, now.
Any thoughts?

In reply to: Spelling Checker plugin for WordPressThanks for telling me about the FAQ. I didn’t know it was there. I got the path from the technical support folks (/usr/bin/aspell) but it still is showing a blank in the spell checker. What are the permissions that I need to use and where do I find the personal dictionary? I couldn’t find this info in the FAQ.
I’m using PHP version 4.3.10.

In reply to: Spelling Checker plugin for WordPressSo, west4me mentioned that the spell check are is empty. That is what is going on with me. Is that an “aspell” thing? If all seems to work but the spelling info is empty, is my server missing the aspell or pspell?

In reply to: Exhibit v1.1d & WP1.3a5Emmert, thanks for pointing us to the new release. I now have images that show up in my posts. However, the popup images have undefined function errors, whether using popup or exhibit_full.php. Here is one such error “Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_currentuserinfo() in /home/goswans/public_html/wp-content/plugins/exhibitimg/exhibit10f.php on line 38.”
Any ideas? I’m not sure if a reference to the config.php file needs to be required or something. But, I can’t get big images.
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: Posts not found with new permalink structureThanks macmanx. That got me working. Since I wanted a simpler permalink structure, I tried some variations and found out that if I got rid of the /%category%/ template tag, it worked. I ended up with /%author%/%postname%/. I guess that since each post is tied to a date (archive) and a category, adding the category to the structure confused it. At least, that is what I choose to think since I don’t really understand…
Anyway, thanks for the tip.

In reply to: Page ManagementThanks for the information. It will be nice when the pages can be managed like the posts. I guess I’ll crack into the index a bit and see if I can talk it into displaying the page information.
Thanks again.
