You are right: We are using elementor, the homepage is broken after the last Mailpoet-Update. After deactivating Mailpoet, it works again. I use PHP 7.4.23; at the moment I disabled Mailpoet and so I cannot produce the error. It is a productive website; I had to to fix the test-system to check it completely. This will use a few hours.

it is not easy. There is no error in the log!

After resetting to normal functions.php, I got this error a little later. But in my opinion, this is another problem?

can a Plugin be the source of the problem? The debug never shows an error, but the screen is white after adding the code to the functions.php (in a child theme).

I am sorry, I missed the reply. In my case there is no error. DEBUG is active. I am using the Theme Neve. No idea; I tried many things, but noting works.

thanks a lot for this thread! Now I understand my problem: Smush is the reason, that the images on page one are not displayed.

If I disable Lazy Loading, it works.

But if I disable only “donation forms” and the class “.image” it never works. Did someone solved the problem? Lazy Loading is cool and I do not want to disable overall.

if you have an idea, it would be great. Actually we only see the author-pics in some views, but not in the article view. It is funny, that elementor shows the pics, but not the native theme.

I used the latest version.
In my case the authors where shown, but wrong ones. Mostly the editors and not the authors where shown. I changed it with deleting the author, saved it. Then I added the author and saved again. It was okay for some hours, but later the editor was shown again.

My customer was not amused because it is an important function. So I had to deactivate the plugin.
