– PHP is 7.2
– Screenshot I can sent via mail (please let me know wich) or I give you access to a testsystemBest regards
JWHHi Angelo,
thanks a lot: For me it was not obvious, that the category of the main site must be used. Now I used shared categories and it works. Thanks!

JWHForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Amazing Hover Effects] Bug with WordPress Version 5.1.1Hi Ryan,
thanks. That is not an option in my case, it is a bigger site and it is not possible to migrate in a short time. Hmm, did you know, where the problem in the database could be?
JWHForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Amazing Hover Effects] Bug with WordPress Version 5.1.1I have the same problem. But only on one site of a multisite installation. Is it a multisite-installation in your case, too?
Hi Patrick,
thanks for your explanation; that is a great solution. I will implement it and rate.
Best regards
JWHThats great, thanks a lot! Fine!
I think the IP-adress of my visitor is transmitted? Which IP is transmitted?
Hi Patrick,
great solution, thanks. I checked it out and it works great on one site. On the other I have a problem with the theme after installing the plugin, but I think, I solve it with some more time.
But one problem is left: Now I am transmitting data to OpenStreetMap instead of Google. Thats better, but GDPR wants me to inform the user before loading the OpenStreatMap. Is there a chance to load the map after clicking a consent?
Best regards and thank you very much
JWHHi Patrick,
you got the point, but: I don’t log the UP-adress, I deactivated Matomo/Analytics/AWR (or shortened the visitors ip-adress), because that is necessary concerning GDPR in Europe. And it is not allowed, to send visitors IP to other providers without asking before: Matomo is on my own server, that is allowed. But Google Analytics, Google Fonts or Google Maps or Google-Servers; so I am not allowed to send the visitors IP to Google without a separate consent.
There are two ways to do that:
1) I ask for consent in a general consent banner and ask there first for general consent and then for Google Maps consent (e.g. https://www.cookiechoices.org/)
2) The better way is I ask for general consent in consent banner and if the visitor visits a site with google maps, he has a separate consent only for that. Two link: First another discussion (https://www.wpgmaps.com/forums/topic/gdpr/) and second an example https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/load-scripts-maps-after-user-cookies-consent/
Best regards
jwhHi Patrick,
it is a difference, if I get the IP-adress on my server and if I route the IP-adress of my visitor to google. So your solution to block the content is right, but I only have to block the maps content – the rest is okay.
Is there any chance to only block the map-element and open it, if the consent is given?
Best regards
jwhHelle Asad,
can you help me with a css-class to style the headline?
Best regards
jwhIt will be great, if I have a chance, to use a css-class to style the headline. Is there any way?
Thanks! And is there any class to style the headline?
I tried it with a div-container, but that doesn’t works.Thanks a lot!
Sorry for my late answer. I got help from the theme-author and could delete the maps-request in the theme. This is the theme: https://www.templatemonster.com/de/demo/61170.html
Hi Pascal,
thanks, I did not changed the code (it is not possible because of multisite with two languages). I think, I used Loco Translate, but I never find my translation. I will try it again with the translation-project and inform here, if it works…
Best regards
Jens
