I was also having trouble filtering. I found if you are using the cat=”” you have to use the category id not the category name. Not sure why this is. Usually you can use either or.

I also need to be able to designate which category to display in the shortcodes. The Shortcode Explanation lists cat=”” but setting that doesn’t seem to do anything.

I am having the same problem with something appearing on the right of the slides. Using Firebug I can see it seems to be something called <li class="clone">

More then likely you made a small error when you edited the header.php. I do a lot of customization to WordPress themes. I run into this issue all of the time. Usually it comes from deleting a ; adding html to a php section or vice versa.

When this happens then it’s a simple matter of using ftp to fix the error you made in the header.php. Very rarely is a full theme restoration necessary.

The site uses the theme “Modernize WordPress Theme” and it was an included plugin that was causing the issue. Thanks for the help.

The PHP Config on this sever has options for PHP 5.2 and PHP 5.4 so I think it’s supported. My php_info() file shows PHP 5.4 when I make the upgrade. I’m trying to contact the host.

In tooltips.php there is a section that looks like this

That adjusts the placement of the tooltips. I fond that editing it as I post below allowed it to fit on a mobile device

I never did find any. There is a penny auction theme but it doesn’t have a lot of functionality. I ended up doing this https://162.220.163.141/~eljace/ which is a mashup of the Ultimate Auction Pro and WooCommerce. By combining the two plugins it creates a penny (or bid fee) auction.

I’m surprised that there aren’t more options out there for a bid fee auction. But hopefully my find will help someone else.
