Smushit is indeed a great plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work on everything. I’m running the Panoramica theme, and Smushit doesn’t work for the portfolio items. So I still end up having to manually resize my images. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it seems like there might be a better way.

Thanks. It looks like that will work for almost everything I want to do. I’ve now chosen a different theme with a slider that doesn’t use blog content. It looks like we’ll have to manually size a handful of images for that part of the site, but smushit should work for nearly everything else. Thanks again.
