Yup. That’s what I told them too. We were on WebSynthesis (running Broken Link Checker) prior to being purchased by WP Engine, which bans the plugin. We moved from WP Engine specifically to be able to install the Broken Link Checker plugin. I had tech support on the line monitoring the server while the plugin was running. No performance issues at all and then all of a sudden it gets automatically uninstalled. First level tech support had no clue as to why and there are no errors in the logs. They refused to escalate to level 2 support saying to contact the developer. My position is that it must be Bluehost’s monitoring system that is doing the uninstall. Rather than try to educate the personnel at Bluehost, I’m going to pull the plug and find another managed WordPress hosting service.

    Thanks for the feedback.
