The Gutenberg plugin is for testing new Gutenberg features before they are available in core WordPress. It is not advised that you use this on a production site, as you will likely run into bugs.
When turning off the plugin, everything works as it should though?

500 errors (500, 502, 503, etc…) are typically server errors: https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/getting-500-error/.
The issue might also be caused by server limitations, like the memory limit or the max post size being too small.
If you are not familiar with these settings, you can try contacting your hosting provider to see if they can adjust the settings on your server to solve this issue.
You can also confirm your PHP settings with them. For reference, you can see this article: https://documentation.laborator.co/kb/general/recommended-php-configuration-limits/.

A Child Theme is only necessary if you are making major changes to the theme’s code structure. If you don’t not have any major custom code to add, then you should not use a child theme.
If you are customizing the theme’s code, we recommend just using the Code Snippets plugin instead, which we have documentation on here:

The related products within Kadence display products that share a category with the product you’re viewing.
Products sharing the same categories will be displayed in the related posts carousel.

The issue is being caused by the Z-index you’re assigning to your row layout.
Try going into the row layout settings, and reduce the Z-index until it no longer covers the menu.

The theme hasn’t required any updates, which is why it hasn’t been updated since 2021.
Are you experiencing any problems with the theme that would require an update?
Note that while Ascend Theme will continue to be supported in order to be compatible with the latest WordPress versions, we will no longer be adding any new features to it.

When I view your site, it’s not loading completely for me. I’m just seeing the html being output without any theme styling.
