In reply to: WP 2.6.2: conditional comments for IE working only on main pageI’m having the same problem; this thread says it’s resolved but I don’t see the answer anywhere. How do I fix it?

In reply to: Same directory in hosting as wordpress pageOk, I’ll try to explain it in a different way.
Pretend I have a directory on my site created with cPanel with an HTML file in it (domain.com/hi/lol.html). I then create a page on WordPress and give it the slug “hi,” hoping I can see it on my site at domain.com/hi. Unfortunately, all that comes up when I go to domain.com/hi is the Index Of page I was talking about, which just shows the contents of the directory (the lol.html file).
However, when I delete the directory “hi” from cPanel (and leave the “hi” page in WordPress), going to domain.com/hi brings up the WordPress page. This obviously means that when there is a directory in cPanel with the same name as a page in WordPress, the WordPress page will be disregarded when going to the url. What I want to do is make it possible to have both the directory in cPanel with the lol.html file accesible at domain.com/hi/lol.html while still having domain.com/hi redirecting to the WordPress “hi” page.
