In reply to: [The Events Calendar] View Calendar Link from Widget Toes to Wrong PageThanks Darian @d0153 .. and also @jtpeterson64… read through your fix and like you said, stinks to have to modify it every time an update. So my workaround was to remove it from widgets and create my own Divi Footer with similar information, sadly, it doesn’t include the rolling events, just a view calendar link – but it’s at the bottom anyhow, who’s going to scroll that far, past all the other options to see the class, let alone the header.
Sad it can’t be a simpler fix to the plugin/widget but it is what it is. The joys of tech, right? lol I appreciate your time.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] View Calendar Link from Widget Toes to Wrong PageI guess my only concern with this is that I will lose all of the events I have. I have just decided to remove the widget and create my own footer with links that I want, it just won’t be the rotating classes as that changes every month. Thank you though.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] View Calendar Link from Widget Toes to Wrong PageSo I have Siteground which pushes SG Optimizer and SG Security, but not sure why that would cause the link to be different.. but I did purge the cache and excluded the events page from that, still same issue.
My concern with changing the slug, will cause me to have to change other links, as well.
Everything is up to date.. but
If the above doesn’t help, could you provide the version of the following? This will help me understand how your system is set up.
- PHP -up to date with current version PHP 7.4.33
- WordPress -up to date with current version 6.1.1
- The Events Calendar -up to date with current version 6.0.8
- Theme -Divi up to date with current version 4.19.5
Thank you!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] View Calendar Link from Widget Toes to Wrong PageI assume by “pretty” you mean post name, and yes, that is already set, by nature and glad themes are on board with making that default because who would want plain or month and name?
Anyways, as far as “theming the widget” could you provide a little more specifics for changing the name of the “View Calendar” – like what is that “section or whatever called, in order to customize it. Not a theme changing wiz.
Not only that, but super weird that if you hover over the link “View Calendar” it says /classes/ but when you click on it it does take you to a page that says classes but is in fact the blog, which is not the same name as the blog is /blog/ which you can confirm by clicking the Blog in navigation
So I appreciate the help but somehow missing the actual directions to do what I need versus customizing something, in general. Sorry and thank you.
That could be possible… or maybe it’s just a text form, but I ended up doing a version of that.
I ended up killing Plan B (that was my plan B lol, Tickets w Paypal integration was Plan A and that was too much work) so I went onto a Plan C which was add a Paypal button to the Thank You page, now Payment page, put the link in the confirmation email, which again, wasn’t clickable but reminder to them, and the success message was brief enough that the text that was right above it (in bright blue) had a link to the payment page. Wasn’t perfect, but it worked out. I appreciate the suggestion.
