    Hello again,

I may have found the issue. For some reason my page.php and my 404.php is no longer anywhere on the server. Could this be the issue? If so, what do I have to do? And how do I keep this from happening?

Sorry to rattle off all the questions.

So what is the code that I should use?

And are you sying to use this 666 code until I am finished adding plug ins and such and then change the 666 to 664 or 660?

    I’m really confused here…

Thanks podz. Where exactly do I place that 666 command and what is the proper code? Also, will 666 give any user of my blog writeable access to my .htaccess?

    Thanks

    Hello all,

I just thought of something that I did earlier today that may be causing this. I took most of them meta entries (includiing the RSS one) out of the sidebar.php. COuld that be causing this issue?

    Thanks,
    Knox

Kishin, did you get an answer to your question? I would like to know as well. I tried to find the code that nden was speaking of. I couldn’t find it in my sidebar.php.

Can someone help me get rid of the whole Meta portion located in my sidebar?

    Thanks

Thank you for your replies. I am not sure what happened. I was getting an error that a particular line was corrupt (I think that was the terminology). What I did to get my site back up and running was delete the blank lines in the sidebar.php that were created when I tried to add Google Adsense. My problem is that I am not very sure at what point in the code of sidebar.php I should place the Google code, or even if it matters. But nothing I tried yesterday worked. I’m trying to sift my way through the Codex now, but it’s slow going without coding knowledge. ??

If anyone could answer exaclty where to place the Google code within sidebar.php, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks

Thanks. And then I guess I just need to know if my server has mod_rewrite huh?

Hey, thanks for all of this help. Unfortunately I am lost on alot of this. First, where ahould I look for this following code?

div id=”blogTitle”><?php bloginfo(‘description’); ?></div> and either delete it, or comment it out (<!–on one side–>on the other).

Also, under the #header div there is already a #headerimg div. Should I do all that work you mention in the #headerimg that’s already there? I’m really confused at this point.

    Thank you,
    Knox

Hey miklb. Thanks for the thought. However, I am extremely new to this and have no idea how to do any of those things. Is it easy to explain to me how to handle those issues?

Or would I be better off with a different theme?

    Thanks,
    Knox

I just set it as background-image. It didn’t make it look any better, I don’t think.

Hmmmm, I have no clue why it wouldn’t be appearing on Firefox.

The image is there, it’s just not a good banner for that particular theme. I guess that’s the issue. I don’t know why the logo is duplicated to the right and why it’s cut off. I think I saw a post earlier about using particular sized banners with this theme.
