Issue resolved thanks heaps.
1. Featured image wasn’t resizing itself after moving from share host to VPS with Godaddy
2. caused popular post display thumb option failing to pickup featured image
Solution
cPanel > WHM > EasyApache > select GD to install GD library > build php again.
