Actually it is possible, we figured it out. Instead of using the gmail option in the backend settings of your plugin, we used the last option (i think it’s called ‘Other SMTP’ or something like that). Then my IT guy figured out he could set up google authentication by giving the IP address of our website to Google (not sure how he did this). Then he was able to get the appropriate things to fill out the settings in the plugin settings (not sure where he found this).. But it is possible!
