All of the contents of the site are in the Wonderful sub-directory. The only thing in the AllKnowingForce folder are two index files.

The static page option is NOT checked.

“Your latest posts” is what is checked.

I just viewed the site in FF and it was perfect.

I then viewed it in IE 8 and the same problem persists – when I type in the URL, it gets a 404 error.

However, when I type allknowingforce.com/wonderful it works BUT now all the banners and missing pictures are there!

So, the only issue is I can’t get it the URL to work in IE!

Do you get it to work in IE?

I am not sure of the difference between a root directory and a sub-directory. However, I assume a sub-directory would be, in this case, Wonderful. So, yes, the site files are located in Wonderful.

As far as the screen shot goes, I don’t know how to post it here. I did save it to my desktop, though.

I cannot find the htaccess file anywhere.

I have made the changes in the wp-config file. A “/” does NOT appear at the end of either wonderful.

In FF, the banner does not load and some images from the theme do not load. Maybe there is an issue in the header file?

In IE, nothing has changed. When https://www.allknowingforce.com is typed into the browser, the site doesn’t load. When https://www.allknowingforce.com/wonderful is typed into the browser, the site loads perfectly and all the images that are missing in FF appear.

I am unable to do this there because the option to is “grayed out,” meaning I see entries there, but I’m not able to edit them.

I DID edit this through the wp-config file, and when I added two lines, I never once regained the ability to edit through the location you mentioned.

I noticed that as well and tried to change it by editing some of the files, but the things I tried didn’t work.

Can anyone help?

I’m unsure why it isn’t working in all browsers, as there was NEVER a problem in the past.

I’m using IE 8 and the home page loads for a split second and then get the 404 message.

I’m also using the newest version of FF (beta) and the home page loads but some things are x’d out.

However, everything works – on all browsers – as https://www.allknowingforce.com/wonderful .

I’m so confused!
