Alright, I was able to fix it. The issue was that my code in search.php was flawed. Apparently, since I had the post types declared in my functions, there was no need to declare again in search.php. So I just modified it back to how it was in the twenty-eleven theme, and everything was golden.

The only way I knew this? Going to wp-config php in the root folder and going to wp_debug and setting to true. It helped a lot in debugging. Hope this helps someone else too.

Putting as resolved- moving to another forum (white page of death), because this isnt part of a plugin

I kept going through miles and miles of messages and found a method to where now it’s working. Apparently I had to do a full flush of all my saved passwords and cache on Firefox 3 and now the site is functional again.

It was highly suspect when I didn’t have any problems logging in through Safari, so I tried just clearing out my cache in FF and that did it.

Oh wow- I didn’t know that it wasn’t standard HTML/XHTML. I feel sheepish.

Alright I’ll take your advice on the mailto function. It sounds like a plan.

And I’ll go read up on Page Templates.

(I feel like a kid in grade school trying to appease a teacher.)

    ??

Thanks a bunch Otto. Have a good one.

    Otto:

First off, thanks for responding, I really appreciate it.

Alright lemme tackle the simplest issue first- the reason I went with my email address just as an image, and not a mailto is because I was getting a LOT of spam from bots reading the mailto address. So I’ve stopped doing that. The Meebo is just an extra way of seeing if I’m online. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t work for you; if I get word from more people that it’s not working for them, I’ll just drop it. ??

    NOW for the hard part.

Alright, I understand what you’re saying– the posts are built for simplicity and not for major ‘coding’ per se. However, just as a side note, I’d like to make it known that I’m not putting any forms anywhere- the Meebo Widget (I think that’s what you were referring to) is just an embedded Flash object.

So all I wanted to do is just position that correctly.

Which leaves me with the option of the page template. Okay. Sounds reasonable, and hell since this is the kind of thing I like, I might try that. Question is– where do I start? I’m still getting acclimated with WP.

Thanks a bunch; Have a great day

That plug-in is no longer supported, but it works. For those who are curious to use it in the future, copy the directory to your plugins folder, activate it through WordPress Administration, and then go to Options, then go look for CQS at the top.

Go to “New Condition”, then choose “is_month” from the drop-down menu. Type in “-1” (no quotes) where it says “show __ per page”, and then click Add. Now, whenever someone checks a month on your page, it’ll show the entire month’s postings.

    Thanks to JoyceD!

Do i just copy this into my plug-ins folder? There aren’t any informative instructions included. :S

Worked like a charm. How on earth did you know to do that? Am I really that much of an idiot? Sheesh. I need to get crackin’ on learning these tags in WP.

Thanks again, have a great day. ??
