I love how we all want these notifications to stop and in the meantime I discover: There now is a little violet popup-hint, notifying me that “There are new notifications”. *epic facepalm*

I’m seeing the same behavior. The message pops back up DAILY even though nothing has changed on my site. Important to mention maybe: I’m running MultilingualPress for having multi-language support. Do those 2 languages interfere with one another (or is it Yoast that can’t handle this?

Two questions on this:

1. The filter (for me) removed notifications from the top bar, but not from the side nav
2. How can I disable the “Insights” notifications as well?

Other than that: Thanks already for providing the filter. Takes away the main spamifications.

Hey guys, thanks for the update. I indeed use AdBlock, but, for the sake of testing ads on my site have deactivated it on my entire domain (and on some others I’d like to support).

That includes the admin section of WordPress, so actually I should have been able to see your plugin.

Anyway: It might be a good idea just mentioning that somewhere, to help other people who experience the same problem. I even googled how to uninstall the plugin and didn’t find that hint.
