As you want to improve your blog so I have few suggestions for you which would help you to improve your site and will improve the visibility of the site.
1. Image Slider: Should contain only attractive images with equal height and width. Place the posts on the left or right side of the image slider.
2. Now coming to the body area: Map is consuming so much space, it would be better to place this google map in contact us page.
If you place this google map in contact us page than increase the div of the area containing articles and place some discounts or offers or something else on the right side.
3. Social media icons, so that peoples would share your site with friends.
