I have the same problem! I sent an email to the plugin author and hope to get a little assistance from them.

By any chance are you running WordPress on IIS (Windows) as opposed to Linux and Apache? I am leaning towards that being an issue so far. But I am not sure.

I have tried it on two sites and have gotten that error and this one….

Your Jetpack has a glitch. Connecting this site with WordPress.com is not possible. This usually means your site is not publicly accessible (localhost).

Both are on an Ubuntu box and both sites are publicly accessible.

Any ideas?

Well I figured it out. I found two .swf files in the source folder… Main.swf and main.swf – I hold the original developer responsible for using bad naming conventions, but that’s neither here nor there… Used the correct file and all is well.

I pulled it from that folder… but I suspect there is something else happening that I am not seeing. Nice catch.

So I guess if my .swf is setup correctly, then the clickable elements will work with pb-embedFlash?

Oops, sorry. I meant to describe the banner. It’s the one on the right hand side for “Robins School of Business”. Same banner on both sites, but is clickable @ https://www.richmondbizsense.com

By The Way, the o={AllowScriptAccess=\”always\”} was my feeble attempt @ fixing it and the \’s show up once I save the settings. Not sure why…

I pulled the Main.swf file from a Joomla powered site @ https://richmondbizsense.com

The link is embedded in the file and because I didn’t build it, I am not sure how. But I do know it works on the Joomla site.

I know WordPress wants a POP3 server, so maybe it’s looking for POP.DOMAIN.NET… Just a thought.

I am having the same issue and I am now up to almost 350 feeds, so it is making a bit of a mess…
