The problem was that BP Classic was installed. i uninstalled it and they came back.

Hello, I do not think that is what he meant, and I am trying to accomplish what he wanted to do too.
It has nothing to do with repeating events. If a shortcode is showing the upcoming events, we would like a way to have it skip some of them. FOr example, if the next events are event 1, event 2 and event 3, and I set an offset of 1, I would like the shortcode to skip the first event, and return event 2 and event 3. This is similar to the offset feature that can be used when querying wordpress posts.
