Ok, update. Still no go on this… however when I log into the back end of my website in my iPhone, the post box shows up fine.

On my MacPro, I’ve tried Chrome, Safari and Firefox and none of them work.

I have another website on the same hosting plan, and it’s not having this issue, either on my desktop or mobile.

Awesome, I followed thewpguy’s suggestion, and that worked.

Drop-down menus work when I ether deactivate WP-Float or when I turn off Superfish and activate WP-Float.

Ok, this seems to have spontaneously resolved itself now. Maybe it was a caching issue??

I just used that fix, and it worked for me. I was getting the mobile version of my website in Firefox.

My impression was that Alex was going to have it done a few weeks ago. I’ve given up waiting though – needed to get my Vimeo videos embedded. Found a different plug-in which works perfectly. Seems to work alongside Alex’s with no issues either. Although I went back and transferred all my other embeds to the new plug-in, just so I only have one running.

It’s called “TentBlogger Vimeo, YouTube, RSS Embed”

Just heard from Alex, created of the Plug-in, he’s going to get it sorted and push out a new version ASAP.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday, but the old article I updated was sent out via email… it’s definitely the first time it’s happened. I often update old articles here and there, and have never received a new email out before.

So can’t offer any help, but just a bit more information!

Hey Marcus,

I’ve increased the memory to 128M, and my user who was having issues with Edit mode not displaying etc says it seems to be working perfectly now.

Hopefully that’s sorted it out!

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately I don’t have CFormsII installed… I’m using Fast Secure Contact Forms. Had a read through their settings incase it was the same… but it wasn’t.

So I still haven’t found a fix.

One noteworthy thing that may provide a clue… the user who’s having difficulty (even after I created a new user login and password for her) got this error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/theyogalunchbox.co.nz/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 4186

This is despite me allocating more memory last week… I’m still investigating to see if I can sort it out.

Ok – but this issue is only happening for one out of five users right now (as far as I’m aware). Plus this particular user had no issues at all until yesterday… so surely that can’t mean it’s a plug-in issue or:

A) We’d all be having issues
B) There would have been issues from the beginning.

Or is my logic faulty somewhere?

I’m having the same issue. Am currently testing Event Manager to use on my website, if it works well, will likely to go Pro.

Am unclear after reading through this thread if it’s a theme compatibility issue, a plug-in clash (I don’t have any of those plug-ins running) or an issue in Event Manager.

I’ve had four users testing Event Manager for nearly two weeks, and this issue has only just shown up. Surely if it were a plug-in issue, it would have shown up straight away? I haven’t added any new plugins since I started the testing.

Are there other plug-ins that clash that could be causing this?

Has anything further come to light re. this issue?
