    We thought that too but the TAR.gz actually had the SQL file. All extracted perfectly as well.

    Posting our solution here in case it helps others – It turns out the first automated search and replace (old website address to new) run we did at siteground didn’t get all the files – once we ran it again – BINGO – perfect. The latest support guy at SG was great too.
