Sorry to bring this back but I am still not able to get ti to work.

What permissions should wp-content actually be? I have tried many variations but nothing seems to work for me. Is there anyone out there that has this working? Would they be kind enough to give me their settings?

Thanks for that. The problem I have is that the url string is constantly changing as I am using an itunes playlist plugin that is hooked up to Amazon other wise I would have hand coded the ampersands.

Just checked wp-includes/functions-formatting.php and this plugin is indeed included.

It seems that its the Flickr badge and my ‘now playing’ itunes feed that are causing all the errors:

update: ah seems it is already in 1.5 as I got this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare ent2ncr() (previously declared in /home/public_html/news/wp-includes/functions-formatting.php:725) in /home/editor/public_html/news/wp-content/plugins/entity2ncr.php on line 11

Sorry to ask again about this but the above has always worked for me before. I wonder if WP overides it.

I have 2 plugins that create unencoded ampersands.

Any other suggestions most welcome ??

Worries by all those validation errors though.

I usually put this in:

But not sure where to put it in wp on template or main index.

It wasn’t my problem. That hos now been fixed thanks to MacManx. He found that the plugin Elegant Categories was screwing with permamlinks.

I will email plugin developer very soon.
