Thanks – I’m definitely getting flooded with spam accounts now, especially since last weekend. It was very accurate before.

Found it – it was the fastcgi timeout (preconfigured at mediatemple DV).

The second I wrote this, I realized it started working again. Some plug-in must have pushed an update out ??

Same here – 1.3 stopped working, activity log is simply blank. The attached version (1.2) works great. Running on mediatemple GS.

Any progress on the issue? Curious if I’m the only user who reported it? Thanks.

I can reproduce it on Chrome in Win 8, Chrome + Safari Mountain Lion, not in IE Windows 8

Worked around it by:

– Replacing BackWPUp (consumed up to a second page load time, measured by P3)
– Turning off WP-Cron during each load, and scheduled a call to it hourly via a “true” cron job.

Works great now, load is minimal.
