In reply to: [Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type] Location (conditional)It would be a lot easier to make it tap into a geolocator like Woocommerce does for their location drop down boxes.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODEyep, it was a little plugin that had no business calling the API. I overlooked it because it was completely unrelated to anything to do with location nor was anything in its documentation or purpose related to google. Using the time honoured tradition of switching everything off and bringing them back on one by one I was able to track down the offender.
The fault was not yours. Thanks for your assistance in any event.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Paid add-on packsas asked in another thread:
If I deactivate “address” and “zip”, does the premium add-on modify the map behaviour so it doesn’t try to generate a street address, but limits the scope to city (which would be preferred?
Also, you may consider adding a switch so people can change “zip” (which is a US only address term) to “postal code” (used by about 210 countries)

In reply to: [Insert Pages] breaks premium templatesbecause it does the same thing in twenty series templates – you know, the first thing one checks.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODEApologies for my frustration. It gets irritating when the answer I get to almost every support question is “you must be using a conflicting plugin” and you, as the most recent, took the ire built up from several others providing the same response.

In reply to: [Social Articles] Don’t do it! You have so much to live for!You are slow answering tickets, insist on overriding child css, and use up valuable screen space for one tiny status indicator because it makes sense to you and you can’t conceive of someone wanting a more efficient layout – but rather than addressing these concerns you deflect by attacking the critic.
If you’re going to produce something you must be prepared to accept criticism rather than petulantly getting defensive. Dealing with the concerns, or providing an insight into why they are as they are, is far more professional.
If you were as quick to address tickets as you are complaining about negative reviews that would go a long way.
edit: you use the anecdote that *you* were never hacked to say it can’t happen – yet there are users of your plugin complaining of just that.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Paid add-on packsAlso, on my site I pull certain xprofile fields to place just under the displayed name on the profile and in the info presented on the Kleo Masonry member list. If one buys the Kleo Geolocation add-on, do you provide the database fields so one can also pull the location info and add it to this string?
edit: and what would really be the bees knees is a user-checked option to allow users to synchronise their GeoMyWP address and their woocommerce account address. Just a thought for upcoming features.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Remove address requirementn/m. I see that’s a paid add-on.
Does the add-on modify the map behavior so it doesn’t try to generate a street address, but limits the scope to city, if address is deactivated?

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODEThe key is accurate. There is no other maps plugin running. And yes I know how to install a goddamned API key. Not all of us are noobs to Google development.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODENope, I installed the API key earlier today.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODEfair point. Now I’m as far as getting the form to appear on the members page, but a box says “Oops! Something (and then it cuts off) and the form doesn’t work.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODEWhy not just make them part of the plugin without being an add-on?

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODENo. If a plugin requires add-ons in order for a simple dropbox to function, and there’s not so much as a “to activate this feature, please activate [required add ons]” but simply a dropbox appearing but not doing anything, that’s pretty frikkin’ non-intuitive.

In reply to: [GEO my WP] Unable to create New Form and Unable to search using ZIPCODEI’m also not able to add new forms. There’s a dropbox at the top for “add new forms” but selecting it does nothing and there’s no button to tell it to do anything.
