Question: when i add the code of video player in the page Half of the screen of video player shows (50% or less regular size)also it doesn’t play it just display a black half screen.

Answer: You can very well adjust the width and height of the player in page or post using the following short code.

[hdvideo id=3 width=400 height=400]

Regarding the black screen, kindly make sure that you have video for the video ID which you have mentioned in the short code. For eg: make sure that you have video for ID 3 which you have mentioned in the above short code.

Please make sure that you have selected “default” or “postname” as permalink type. Since the video page is a custom post, other type of permalinks are not supported by the video page. Please check and share your site URL, If you are still facing the same issue.

For particular playlist : [hdvideo playlistid=2]

You can also mention the width and height of the player and control the player properties, like “autoplay”, “zoom”. Eg:

Please let me know clearly. You want to place the [videohome] tag inside any page or post? If so, go to your WP Admin -> Posts (or) Pages -> Edit the Page (or Post) where you want to place the code and paste the [videohome] tag inside the content and save and check. In order to resolve this problem, kindly ensure that you have a page with the short code [videomore] under Admin -> Pages -> (no title). If you don’t have the page please create a new one with the content [videomore] and save it without page title. Now go to admin -> Appearance -> widgets -> Open Top Menu Widget Area and Delete “Contus Video Category”. Now newly drag and drop “Contus Video Category” widget under “Top Menu Widget Area”

Please download “banner.zip” file from the following link https://www.apptha.com/forum/files/banner.zip and unzip it. Now uninstall the videostream theme in your admin panel and install the new theme from the unzipped folder.

Then replace the “css” folder in the following path \wp-content\plugins\contus-video-gallery through your ftp.

Before going for the replacement, please take back up of your old files.

Now go to your admin -> Appearance -> Widgets -> Drag drop “Contus Banner Slideshow” Widget under “Banner Widget Area”.
