I found the header code in the header.php file in the child theme and replaced it with an image.

It looks great, and I thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction!

OK. I thought since the header.php file was part of the WordPress infrastructure, it wasn’t really a slider revolution problem. It could have been any slider software and I’d still need to know if I’ll break the site if I delete a header.php

I just did reconnect and when I look in the Jetpack settings in WordPress, it says that it is sharing with Twitter and Linkedin.

Am I correct in assuming that the post will show on Linkedin in the Activities section? If so, then it’s not appearing.

Hi Richard – Thanks for the post. Yes, the date thing would work. I can choose not to display the date and then just assign a date that puts them in the order I’d like them in. That would be best anyway since when you first start using the plugin, it looks like all the testimonials happened on the same day ??

Hi Bompus – sorry for the duplicate questions. There have been so few responses here, so I wanted to try and catch you somehow.

I upgraded to V3 and I’m still not getting emails. When someone comments on a post, I get the emails, so I think the standard WP email function is working.

Any ideas on troubleshooting?

I’d like the answer to this, also. Does anyone know if the plugin can send email alerts when a review is submitted?

Here’s the rest of the story.

I have a plugin from my host that does a number of things to optimize the WordPress installation.

One thing it does is change the login url from wp-admin to something random. Once I disabled that part of the plugin, the password protection works fine.

And, since I use very strong passwords, guess I won’t worry about using the standard login url.

I have asked my host to look into the issue. Hopefully I’ll get a fix somehow!
