Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Navigation IssueI would like to see my primary menu. It has links to my home page, about page, etc., etc.
Yes, it has about 56 published pages
Yay! unsetting did the job. I suppose that gets me a bit closer, however, I would still like to set my custom menu as primary. is there any way to do that?
I also tried deactivating plugins, but that didn’t do anything
Okay, I’ll repost this as well in that forum.
Thanks for being so helpful and responding so quickly!
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Bluehost/WP instal problemI’m having the same trouble. I originally purchased a domain name through webs, which i switched to 000webhost about half a year ago, and now I created a wordpress site and want to keep my domain name. Since it’s wordpress I wanted to switch my host to Bluehost, so I pointed my name servers to bluehost. that was yesterday around 12. so it’s been about 14 hours. i went through webs (because it didn’t look like 000webhost had the domain transferring option) and redirected the name servers to bluehost. i also installed wordpress to the domain name through the bluehost tools. that was all 14 hours ago at least… but when i go to kidsanddragons.com/wp-admin it redirects to 000webhost site… did I do it wrong? did i just not wait long enough? shouldnt i see the login for the wordpress dashboard? please help!thanks

In reply to: Is it possible to re-boot a site with only the www folder?hmm. I see what you’re saying. I had about 20-30 pages, but no comments.
well, when I look at the database, it shows the table, but when i try to open one of the things in the table it says the table doesn’t exist. where would I find my pages in the folder? it would be interesting if I could transfer them to my new site manually.I apologize as I’m fairly new to this, so I’m unsure what kind of technical information would be the most helpful.
