I am having a similar problem trying to login to WordPress. I called Ipage last night and they were able to inactivate a Nextgen addin and I was able to login to my website (WP-ADMIN). I was able to login last week, I did not update anything and when I tried to login this week I got a blank screen with the following string at the top.
/hermes/bosoraweb187/b549/ipg.sweetpetuniatheclown/azclowns.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/simplehtmldom/module.simple_html_dom_noversion.php is not a valid Pope module
Since I have not added any plugins or updated any, I am at a loss.

NextGen Gallery by Photocrati version 2.0.66.27
Does anyone have an explanation?
I have no expertise at any of this and I am completely lost.
