In reply to: Intergrate login?Chris,
You need to check this out
snapshotIt’s producing warnings all over your page.
Do you just need CSS styling for your login box? I have that available if you want to copy it and tweak.
It’s nothing that fancy, just simple font changes and colors.
You can see it HERE
If this is what you’re after, just hollar back.

In reply to: Please comment my siteI like it very much. Simplicity at its best.
I also agree with isotrope – your search box really does need something – search! Go! Something.
It’s just sitting there with no direction. Most people of very average internet experience – like my 61yr old mother and my 15yr old daughter wouldn’t have a clue as to what it does or what its suppose to represent.
I also read your post – you don’t need to upgrade your writing skills. I enjoyed your words, your tone and your flair for the gab very much.
Well done. ??

In reply to: Technorati Article Content@grafico – just out of curiosity, can you tell me what you did to rectify your problem, just in case I too suffer the same?
Thanks heaps.

In reply to: FAQ PluginVaamYob – it is possible to allow an option to display question author’s name and the replying author on a question by question basis?
ie:
Question by Person 1

In reply to: FAQ PluginThanks – will download now. And I really mean it: Thank you for this brilliant plugin.
I appreciate it greatly!

Worked like a charm!

In reply to: FAQ PluginSorry – I failed to provide a better understanding of where and what ??
That’s:
<div id="faq_a_2" class="faq_a"style="display:none;">

In reply to: FAQ PluginThanks VaamYob – I’ll download latest version now and report any errors.
Did you consider my suggestion re: the ability to turn off category allocation on a question by question basis?
————-
Update: Downloading was a breeze. No errors to report.
Re: Thanks so much for taking on board new suggestions VaamYob. I noticed after I installed your latest version the checkbox to allocate questions to Categories on a question by question basis. Thank you very much!
Just a note: While I haven’t checked any category in this trial run, output on the page still shows a default category with each question, which in my case is “Articles” as it is the first category alphabetically?
————–
Sorry VaamYob – you did put my suggestion to good use – I just failed to refresh! It now works. I can allocate a question to a category if I want to – or I can just post a FAQ without allocating a category. Brilliant!
PS: Other than unchecking a category to the two mock questions I have, with answers, on my page I’m only getthing the question to appear but no answer. I’ve approved the questions in the admin panel, used my daughter’s name and email address in the particulars section but still no answer.
You can see it HERE.
I looked under the hood and saw this with both answers:
style="display:none;
How can I get around this?

In reply to: FAQ PluginI uploaded your plugin and received these errors:
First error occured after installation, when I created a faq page and viewed it:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/xxx/public_html/test/wp-content/plugins/faq/faq.php on line 227
The second error occured when I wrote a mock question, hoping to remove the first error:
WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘Array’ in ‘field list’]
INSERT INTO wp_faq_questions2cat (q_id, cat_id) VALUES (Array, 1)I approved the mock question, refreshed, and viewed the faq page and all errors disappeared.
Thanks for a really great plugin.
It would be nice to have the ability to turn off Category allocation on a per question basis if one didn’t want to allot a particular question to any one category.
just a suggestion. Otherwise, thanks heaps.

In reply to: three columns problemOk. I had a look at your site. Can you please explain:
…but they apear to be placed in a kind of a vertical order. how can I solve that?
Your site looks exactly as you wrote in your OP; sidebar content sidebar.
I’m not sure what else you want to achieve.

In reply to: HelpYou don’t have to use WordPress themes – you can build your own theme, based off a WordPress theme, if that is what you want to do.
However, you still need to use WordPress generated php code/tags in order to pull the information you want into your pages.
Using your own stylesheet is appropriate too, only you need template files to go with it.

In reply to: three columns problemno-one? again? what? am I under a boycott?
Are you serious?
Have a very good look at your OP: Posted 2006-02-08 08:48:16
Now have a very hard look at your bump. Posted: 2006-02-08 09:47:28
I believe its been a whole 59 minutes since you bumped this thread. Bumping is not conducive to gaining help.
If you are serious in attaining help here, from volunteers and mods, then please, relax and be patient. We have lives to lead and employment demands to meet, and we are trying to get to everyone within a relatively short span of time.
We are NOT ignoring you.
And whether or not you’re joking, bumping still isn’t helpful because the volunteers & mods will always go to no-replies first, before they go to anything else.
