I’m sorry, I still don’t understand! If you click on “member” underneath my name on the left, the name that appears is my email. So if people see my previous posts and click on “member,” the email is still there. I guess when I signed up, I must’ve used my email as my user name. Does that make sense?

How do I “drop” the account? There’s no option for that in my profile. Do you mean just abandon it? My email is still displayed on old posts. Thx!

I’m having the same problem as well. I’m beginning to think that you can’t do it with a shortcode as if you view the source code, the class declaration, nivo-caption, isn’t there.

Got it. Thx! I guess the easiest solution for now is to do what I’ve been doing – write down all the theme options and change them once the site is migrated. I hope WP will update their documentation with a warning.

This is an area that the theme users need to be cognizant about and understand why the “search and replace in the DB” approach to migration doesn’t work.

So what’s the best way to migrate a WP site? It doesn’t seem like WP documentation covers everything – are we supposed to manually change the URL one by one? There has got to be a better way…
