OK, so what if I would rewrite the is_pull_allowed, check for the posts to be synced first and then somehow trigger a new is pull allowed and fetch the rest?

No, I am not expecting to have another sync triggered. It should trigger after all relevant fields are set to their expected value.

So what you think is that the 2 fields are changed first, the sync triggers and then the publish field is set? This should still trigger a new sync since this field is mapped, too.

I can see that it would take some more time for the second sync. The problem is that it never occurs.

The order of the mapped field does not have anything to do with it, correct?

Does it matter which order these fields have?

@plantprogrammer thanks for your comment. The connection to SF gets established through a before sent mail call. The plugin does not have anything to do with the integration. It only syncs things down to wordpress.
I believe your assumption is right.
Do you know about Salesforce integration and issues like that?

Hey again. As mentioned, this issue only happens sparingly and trying to provoke the problem would most likely take days.

I was wondering if you have any thoughts on why this could be happening. Have you heard of such behaviour before and, if so, what was done to prevent it from happening.

Thank you Jonathan, I will try that. Though, the debug mode is not recommended for production. I do have a staging site but I don’t think it will help me a lot as the callback URL is different.

Would I be able to enable debug just for a little while without crashing the server?

I have turned on the log settings for errors. Should I choose to log all triggers or just salesforce related? Or do you mean turning on the debug mode as well?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I figured that this goes beyond your plugin specs. It does not have anything to do with the sync.

Yes, we have developed a snippet which connects to salesforce, sends collected data and returns a response.

I have not experienced a down time of salesforce before yesterday and thus did not think of checking SF status before even trying to connect.

Will figure it out ??
