Did you also install the polylang extension for CF7 and make another language version of your test form? Polylang is not the issue but CF7 polylang module as it seems.
I have a form with conditions that works fine without the module activated.
It has hidden mandatory fields which, if not selected when hidden, sends the form as should. When module activated I have a form which is the translation.
The hidden fields are still hidden but if they are mandatory the form is won’t get sent.

Does this make sense to you?

You are right, it is a native wordpress thing. I was just hoping you might have an idea on how to get these settings back into the modal. WordPress developers do not seem to bother even though many requests for this are out there.

The only thing showing up when debug enabled is Undefined index: sliding in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/widget-options/includes/pagebuilders/elementor/render.php which is a notice, not an error.
