In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] BackUpWordPress extensionHey there –
Sorry for any difficulty. We’ve been working away on that issue.
I can grab direct links to any download products you might need, but here’s the most common product pages, with apologies for my delays:
1. Developer Bundle: https://bwp.hmn.md/downloads/developer-bundle/
2. License for up to 5 Sites: https://bwp.hmn.md/purchase-multi-site-license/
3. License for a single site: https://bwp.hmn.md/purchase-single-site-license/Thanks and please don’t hesitate to come back with further questions about the main plugin. Any other extension questions, send an email to [email protected], please, as premium stuff shouldn’t be handled here in the WP.org forums!
Thanks and apologies again,

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Full Backup maxes resources on shared hostingHey there –
Unfortunately running a backup, via plugin or even on the command line, is a memory-intensive process and will use CPU and server resources every time they’re run.
We recommend staggering your backups so that they aren’t all running at the same time and/or breaking up larger backups into smaller, multiple schedules so that your server isn’t maxed out.
You can also talk with your host to see about increasing server resources, memory, CPU, or I/o (on some hosts).
Best of luck!

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Log ErrorsYou will want to delete your website info from that part of the link above (sorry I didn’t see it sooner) and I hope you were able to fix this over FTP or with support from your host?!?

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Weekly / monthly scheduled backups scheduled in the pastI have only seen this one other time and we weren’t able to get to the bottom of why. I still think it’s something that is set on the server level, but unsure whether it’s a setting that can be changed easily or not. Can you check with your host on this one and let us know if they can rule out any specific server-side reasons that might be behind this?
thanks,

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] No more backupSorry that you are also having trouble. As this reply is long after you wrote can I ask if you are still having trouble? And if you are, can you open a new topic/thread to go through troubleshooting?
Thanks,

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] proc_get_status() has been disabled for security reasonsYou are right that the
proc_get_status
is causing the issue here, at least according to some local testing I was able to do. I also know that it didn’t use to cause issues but I am not positive if it might be related to a newer PHP version or not.I am not used to disabling some of the other options, though. Can you try enabling them one at a time and seeing which ones impact running the backup?
Sorry for the lateness in replying and hope this information helps in some way!

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] How do i back up a blog from a multisite system? For the Multisite network, you’ll find the option under the network or Super Admin section and it’s only available as a network-activated plugin, so it won’t run on each individual site.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Backup ProblemsHi there –
You’re right – that error means there isn’t enough space on the server. You’ll need to check with your host to see if they can give your site on the server more disk space. You likely have both the database and the complete backups both running (*they are the default ones) – so the smaller ones would be just the database while the larger one would be the complete one (though that isn’t actually that large).
Your first step is to check with your host to see what kinds of server limits they have in place and whether they can be raised.
Thanks!

In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Spare Hard Drive on my ServerHi there –
You can change the location where your backups are saved. I’m sorry I missed this before!
You’d do this by adding a definition to your
wp-config.php
file with one line of code:define( 'HMBKP_PATH', '\your\backup\path' );
Just replace the “\your\backup\path” with the path where you want your backups to go.
For more information on this and other constants we use with BackUpWordPress and how to edit your
wp-config
file, you can read more at our Knowledge Base: https://bwp.hmn.md/knowledge-base/constants-advanced-options-backupwordpress/Thanks so much! And sorry again for the delay!
